Pretrial Case Management

Support and supervision for individuals released from custody pending trial — helping them meet court requirements and stabilize their lives.

Our Pretrial Case Management program partners with Maine's courts to supervise defendants in the community while their cases move through the criminal justice system. We combine accountability with connection: participants meet regularly with a case manager, receive court date reminders, and are linked to the treatment and services they need to succeed.

The goal is straightforward — keep people connected to their families, jobs, and support systems while ensuring they appear in court and comply with the conditions of their release.

What We Provide:

  • Court-ordered supervision aligned with each defendant's conditions of release
  • Regular check-ins, court reminders, and compliance monitoring
  • Referrals to substance use, mental health, and housing services
  • Reports to the court on participant progress and any concerns
  • Culturally responsive, trauma-informed engagement
